Peterborough District Council, SA

The Peterborough District Council is responsible for the operation and maintenance of a 2.5km stormwater which runs through the town.
The town is in a relatively low rain fall region, but the area can be subject to occasional storms which deliver significant amounts of rainfall in short time frames, hence the need for the stormwater channel to redirect water away from the urban centre.
The concrete stormwater channel was originally built in the 1950’s and has deteriorated with exposure and ground movement.
As part of a channel remediation and stormwater harvesting program, ITL’s Aquaseal and Polyfill were selected to repair the concrete channel and so improve its hydraulic performance.
