TNIS operates an irrigation scheme in Western NSW.

TNIS completed a modernisation and rationalisation scheme to upgrade the efficiency of the scheme.

Part of the project was to line the earth channels to improve water losses. ITL Aqualiner was requested to install its ITL Aqualiner on a section of the channel to demonstrate its capabilities.

Key features included an efficient hydraulic design, reduced liner area (compared to competing liners), improved flow rate and reduced water losses.

While ultimately not successful in working with TNIS for the whole upgrade project, ITL Aqualiner nonetheless demonstrated impressive capabilities.
